The Church has entered a new Era, an era of glory and encounters
The Ten days of Awe which started with Yom Teruach (Trumpets) are times of intense open heaven experiences and glory as well as a time to do business with the Lord. It’s a time of the revelation of God and the revealing of the Sons. This is the season we have just entered.
In times past I have had some of my greatest encounters during these days of Awe and one of these occurred during the Days of Awe in 2005 in Kerela India. I had been ministering in India for nearly 5 weeks in the lead up to the feast and the last week I had decided I was going on a pilgrimage of my own to the Mar Thoma Churches of Kerela.
One of these Churches at Kundungalore is the entry point of the gospel into India and I was keen to go there. The taxi drive took nearly 2 hours and when we were about 5 km’s from the point of the gospel entry the power of God began to hit me. When we finally arrived at the place I was undone and totally found myself in a very deep place before God, weeping and overwhelmed by His glory. This went on for some time and I now recognize that it was the start of a new era/cycle in my life. The encounter was the first of many over the past seven years but it remains by far the most intense. It signaled the start of a process of transformation in my life.
A process of brokenness and glory all tied up in an amazing series of God encounters. As Ive thought about this event and the seven years that have followed I realize that a new Era has opened in my life and I am expecting fresh encounters in these days of Awe.
While Ive been thinking about the process Ive likened it to Revelation Chapter 3 – Rev 3:18-22 (NLT) I advise you to buy gold from me-gold that has been purified by fire. Then you will be rich. Also buy white garments from me so you will not be shamed by your nakedness, and ointment for your eyes so you will be able to see.19 I correct and discipline everyone I love. So be diligent and turn from your indifference.20 “Look! I stand at the door and knock. If you hear my voice and open the door, I will come in, and we will share a meal together as friends.21 Those who are victorious will sit with me on my throne, just as I was victorious and sat with my Father on his throne.22 “Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit
BUY GOLD – REFINED
BUY GARMENTS – So as not to be shamed
BUY OINTMENT – for your eyes so you can see.
OPEN THE DOOR – for fellowship with the Lord
SIT WITH JESUS ON HIS THRONE
1) Revelation – Need to buy Gold
2) Confrontation – Aware of your nakedness
3) Transformation – Eyes opened
4) Manifestation – The door opens
5) Restoration – Sit on a throne as a Son.
The next stage is HE THAT HAS AN EAR MUST LISTEN to the SPIRIT.
Rev 4:1-2 (NLT) Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”2 And instantly I was in the Spirit
After Revelation 2 & 3 the Church age which I don’t have time to talk about in detail from the book of Revelation. Needless to say that the struggle of the Church age is not found in the Revelation of JESUS CHRIST manifest in the Sons.
Trumpet Blast – Sunday night two weeks ago in Horizon Church there was a supernatural Trumpet blast. Long & sustained. This sound called T’kiach is the sound made by the watchman on the wall at sunset to announce that all is well heading into the last watch.
The progression from Revelation to Restoration is all about position for possession by the Lord.
The progression from Revelation to Restoration is all about open doors first by you and then by the Lord
The progression from Revelation to Restoration is all about obeying the voice of the Spirit and moving when the trumpet blasts.
The progression from Revelation to Restoration is all about bowing low and doing business with the Lord when he comes in Glory.
This bowing low brings us into our mountain and onto our throne – Possessing Gold (glory) Fully clothed and having eyes to see in the realm of the throne.
Phil 3:20-21 (NLT) But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control.
