This morning we headed to the old city and the Messianic worship service at Christchurch. The service was in Hebrew but with translation via headphones. The worship was outstanding and the precence of God was powerful. The message was based on Matt 6 – where your treasure is there you will find your heart” It was a great message and very challenging.
Christchurch was the first protestant church in Jerusalem built in 1830 by the Anglican Mission society. They had a vision way back then for the restoration of Israel and so built up the church to reach the Jews they believed would be coming home. The messianic service now is always full and alot of Jews are coming to salvation in their messiah Yeshua.
After lunch we borded the bus again and went over to Bethlehem. Its a bit of a drama these days with the high security to get into the PA controled area of Bethlehem. Once there we went to the church of the Nativity a spiritually dark place these days but its good to see the outcome of what religion’s final end is.
The contrast for us came as we went to an Arab congregation ( for Their security I wont say where) but it was awesome the glory fell in a powerful way. there were at least three diamonds found and lots of glod dust fell. The pastor prayed for every one and had some amazing individual words over each person.
It was nearly 7pm by the time we came back through the checkpoint. but we are all full of the glory of God… Tomorrow we head for the desert for a few days then back to Jerusalem.
Shalom from Jerusalem.
